HISTORY

Founded by Glen Allen, Owner and General Manager, in Queensland in 2012, CSG is a team of Civil Engineering professionals with extensive knowledge and experience at both a Program and Project level, along with extensive delivery experience and a strong track record in delivering major projects in a collaborative framework. Particular emphasis has been placed on assembling individuals who possess the necessary skills and capacity to undertake a wide diversity of roles. We are third party accredited to ISO 9001:2008; ISO 14001:2004 and AS/NZS 4801:2001.

Our ability to refresh the contract administration processes and work flows in the management of NDRRA works in Central Queensland was highly regarded by our client – TMR. We have the ability to provide a fresh approach beyond the standard and current normal consultant performance and will ensure our clients witness new ideas with exciting new systems, all at contracting rates, not consultancy rates.

Robust internal business model which produces sustainable work flows for both our clients and our internal team. Our state-wide resource pool is significant and maintained through the networks of the senior civil professionals‘ team members. Adequate skills and capacity exists among our team, ensuring that backup personnel are always available when and if required. Our backup teams are able to respond to demand for additional input to support changing requirements, should that be required. Our range of senior technical professionals, while supporting our own staff development, can offer in-house training, mentoring and monitoring across a range of codes while delivering their own production outcomes.

Selected members of our team have extensive experience in the administration of many contract forms for construction and maintenance, with more than 350 years and billions of dollars of combined experience. Our Superintendents have a history of completing contracts in a non-adversarial relational manner with no disputes and successful implementation of partnering. Under our own initiative, CSG has developed CAS – a unique computer system which automates the manual QTMR Contract Administration System for project management construction and also a unique complete system for Civil Infrastructure Maintenance.
